Abstract

Kekurangan hormon insulin menyebabkan hanya sebagian kecil dari glukosa yang di ubah menjadi glikogen. Penggunaan lemak sebagai sumber energi akan menyebabkan terbentuknya benda keton. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui zat keton di urin pada wanita hamil di RS PATRIA IKKT JAKARTA BARAT. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan populasi yaitu semua pasien wanita hamil di RS PATRIA IKKT JAKARTA BARAT dengan pemeriksaan keton urin metode Gerhardt dengan metode Carik Celup. Hasil: metode Carik Clup pada pemeriksaan keton urin, didapatkan hasil sebanyak 2 sampel (6,6%) positif terdapat keton dalam urin pada wanita hamil. Sebesar 100% negatif keton dalam urin menggunakan metode Gerhardt.
